We take care of what your pet needs without making it overcomplicated, which is why we don’t charge a la carte. Whether you’re bringing them in for a bath or a full grooming service, your pet will always get their anal glands expressed and nails trimmed.
Exact pricing is dependent on what type of pet you have, how frequently they’re groomed, and the age of your pet. We can give you a more specific estimate when you bring your pet by the salon.

Janice began her career as a barber, learning the technique of hand scissoring before later becoming a groomer in 1979. In 1985 she opened Precious Pets in Sewickley and has been a community cornerstone ever since.
Since then we’ve grown to a team of 6 grooming professionals: Janice, Natasha, Angel, Autumn, Lauren, and Kelly.
We take our job seriously and are particular about who we let care for our pets. While other groomers run through 30 or more appointments a day—frequently changing groomers—we take our time, rarely booking more than six a day. This shows in the comfort our pets feel and the quality of service you receive.
YOUR FIRST VISIT
What to Expect & How to Prepare
You’re welcome to schedule an appointment or bring your pet in first to meet us and get a closer estimate. Please bring or email vaccination records prior to your first appointment.
1.
When you arrive for an appointment, we’ll escort your pet to the back nursery. This is where they hang out to get comfortable before getting in the tub. If you’re not sure about leaving them, you’re welcome to walk through with us.
2.
After a bath, they’ll be dried. We never use hot heat or leave dogs by themselves on a table.
3.
The groomer will finish blowing their coat and give them a shape-up or begin the grooming process.
4.
Most appointments take 3-4 hours, from start to finish, though larger breeds can take up to 5. We take all pets out multiple times to relieve themselves throughout their visit.
5.
We accept cash or check for payment—thanks in advance! You’ll leave with your next visit scheduled with the same groomer your pet is now comfortable with.
